GT Corporation performs sampling of port structure’s materials in the underwater zone. The works are executed by divers using special drilling equipment. Works have been carried out at depths of up to 12.0 m.


In 2001-2002 horizontal drillings up to 4 m in length were performed to extract core soil samples at a depth of 12.0 m behind the sheet pile wall of a berthing facility. Obtained cores were used for the study of the technical condition of the structure.
