Reconstruction of breakwaters of Kaliningrad Sea Channel has been finished

Reconstruction of entrance breakwaters of Kaliningrad Sea Channel has been finished. Total length of Northern and Southern breakwaters was 1570 m. Complicated technical tasks were successfully solved during reconstruction. To protect breakwaters heads from migrating underwater dell new for hydraulic construction solution to build underwater sheet pile wall at depth 25 m was developed and realized. To protect slopes 110000 m3 of concrete blocks were manufactured and put into the structures core. Works were carried out under severe weather conditions at water area open for sea waves.
